World Sweet Day

On November 14 , Pakistan, like the rest of the world, celebrates "World Diabetes Day" every year. This day is also celebrated as World Diabetes Awareness Day. The number of diabetics worldwide has exceeded 42 million. Diabetes is spreading very fast in Pakistan. The Pakistan Health Research Council, in collaboration with the Survival Institute of Diabetes, conducted a survey.
The 18-month-long survey report was released last year, which is extremely worrying. According to the report, a large population of Pakistan is suffering from diabetes. According to this Hosharba report, 27 million people over the age of 20 are suffering from diabetes. According to the survey, the proportion of males in the total number of diabetics in Pakistan is 44% while the proportion of females is 56%.
According to Dr. Abdul Basit, director of the Survival Institute, Pakistan is now the world's fourth largest sugar country.
The number of diabetics in Pakistan is growing very fast. If this is not stopped and diabetes continues to grow at the same rate, it is not far off that in the next few years, Pakistan will be among the top three countries in terms of diabetes.

Diabetes can occur at any age. One type of diabetes is found in children. The number of children with diabetes in Pakistan is in the millions.
Diabetes is not a disease of the present age but it is an ancient disease. If you look at the pages of history, you will find that this disease also existed in BC. In 1552 BC, an Egyptian physician named Hessie Rae described the symptoms of thinness as an unknown disease with excessive urination.
In addition, according to diabetes experts, the disease has been present since ancient times.
Diabetes means that the amount of glucose in the body is higher than normal. Diabetes is a disorder of the pancreas, an organ in the body below the stomach. The pancreas either does not make insulin at all or produces less than the body needs or makes insulin but due to some resistance in the body that insulin is not able to do its job as a result. The amount of sugar in the blood exceeds normal.
According to diabetes experts, if your sugar level is 70 to 110 mg per deciliter on an empty stomach in the morning and 140 mg per deciliter after meals, then you do not have diabetes.
If your sugar level drops to 126 mg per deciliter before meals and 180 mg per deciliter after meals, you are pre-diabetic, which means you are standing on the sugar border line and in the near future. You have a clear chance of developing diabetes so you can beat diabetes for a long time by making a lifestyle change by consulting your doctor immediately.
If your blood sugar level is higher than that, then you have diabetes.
Diabetes experts and recent research have found that heredity, obesity, restlessness, eating disorders, reckless use of poultry and starchy foods and not walking regularly are the main causes of diabetes. Along with these factors, mental anxieties also play an important role in raising sugar.
By adopting a simple lifestyle not only diabetes can be avoided but also diabetics can live a happy and long life.
To avoid sugar, eat a simple diet and eat according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on an empty stomach. Avoid fast foods and junk foods altogether.
After being diagnosed with diabetes, the patient becomes very anxious. Instead of worrying, we need to focus on treatment. Because you are not alone in diabetes, but according to reports, about a quarter of Pakistan's population is currently suffering from this disease.
You should get regular check-ups from your doctor and take the medicine as directed by the doctor, do not increase or decrease the dose on your own. According to experts, sugar and blood pressure are with the skirt. So keep checking your blood pressure from time to time.
Almost every major government hospital now has a separate diabetes center, which is used by thousands of diabetics every day.

People who do not get proper treatment or follow the doctor's instructions after being diagnosed with diabetes face many complications. Remember that uncontrolled sugar for too long is severely harmful to the heart, kidneys, eyes, muscles and feet. One of the major causes of kidney failure in Pakistan is uncontrolled diabetes, loss of eyesight and prolonged high blood sugar. Like sugar causes permanent disability.
So don't take sugar too lightly, check it regularly and follow your doctor's instructions strictly.
Some people claim to have a complete cure for diabetes. Don't listen to such claims. So far no complete cure for diabetes has been discovered in the whole world but the good thing is that with regular check-ups from doctors, proper diet, walk and use of medicines, sugar can be easily kept under complete control and full and normal like a normal human being. Long life can be lived.
Eat with appetite and at regular intervals. Check your blood sugar regularly with a glucometer
